Privacy policy
How we handle your data. Short and clear, in line with the GDPR.
LAST UPDATED: 21 June 2026
1. Who we are
WebPlussers is a Dutch digital studio and the data controller for the personal data processed via this website. Our company details are at the bottom of this page; you can reach us via the contact form.
2. What data we collect
When you fill in the contact form, we process the data you provide yourself: your name, your email address, your message and (if you fill them in) your phone number and chosen topic.
We also collect anonymised website statistics, but only if you consent. See our cookie policy.
3. What we use it for, and on what legal basis
Contact form: we use your data to respond to your message and get in touch. Legal basis: performance of, or taking steps prior to, a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering inbound enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Website statistics (Google Analytics): we use anonymised statistics to improve the website. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you don't consent, no analytical cookies are placed.
We don't sell your data and don't use it for unsolicited marketing.
4. Providing data is voluntary
You are not obliged to provide data. We only need your name and email address to be able to answer your question; if you don't provide them, we can't respond.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 12 months after your question has been handled, or for the duration of a collaboration including any statutory retention periods that apply. We keep data in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
6. Who we share it with
We use processors that process data on our behalf: Google (Google Analytics) for website statistics, and our hosting and messaging providers for delivering and viewing contact form submissions. We have data processing agreements in place with these parties. We don't otherwise share your data unless the law requires it.
7. Transfers outside the EU
For Google Analytics, data may be transferred to Google in the United States. That transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision) and, where needed, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
8. Cookies
By default we only place functional cookies. We place analytical cookies only after you've given consent. You can change your choice at any time via 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of the site. Read more in our cookie policy.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification (correction), erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to the processing. If you've given consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place beforehand.
You can submit a request via the contact form or via our contact details at the bottom of this page. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
10. Automated decision-making
We don't make decisions about you based on automated processing or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects.
11. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the latest change is shown at the top of this page.
